SAWbird NOAA is a self-contained LNA module designed for capturing beautiful weather images available from NOAA and Meteor-M2 satellites Can also be used for any other receiving application in the 135MHz-140MHz passband region. With its tiny noise figure of just 0.7dB, SAWbird NOAA will excel at any compatible application SAWbird NOAA can be powered in 3 ways: via biastee, through the on-board microUSB connector, or through the DC barrel connector provided (USB to DC connector adapter). This ensures compatibility with nearly any radio or SDR--even those without available biastee power The current draw is only 80mA, which ensures compatibility with most SDR biastees, like the NESDR SMArTee RTL-SDR (available on Amazon, product ID B079C4S2BT) The module uses an ultra-low-noise LNA and a custom, high-performance SAW filter centered at the frequency of interest SAWbird NOAA has an EMI shield to separate the sensitive amplifier from external interference Your purchase includes a fully-assembled SAWbird NOAA LNA inside a gorgeous black enclosure, a USB to DC barrel connector adapter, and a male SMA to male SMA connector Full 2-year service and support direct through Nooelec!
