EASILY CONNECT ANGLED HANDRAILS TO NEWEL POSTS – Perfect for stairway post joints, this angled slipfix railbolt kit adjusts to the ideal angle to perfectly align the upper connection of an angled handrail to a newel post. FAST INSTALLATION – Attaching handrails to fittings is no longer a tedious, time consuming process. Assemble the rail bolt shaft and gear housing in the rail, install the keyhole disc, and tighten the gear with the included 5mm hex bit using a screwdriver or cordless drill. NOTE: Impact drivers should not be used when tightening the gear housing. A COMPLETE PACKAGE – The package includes everything you need to attach an angled handrail upper connection to a fixed stairway post. It contains 2 angled slipfix rail bolts, 2 red oak wood plugs, and 1 hex bit (5mm). Use the instructions on the packaging to guide yourself through the installation process. DURABLE CONSTRUCTION – Created by professionals for residential and commercial use, these Zipbolts are made with quality steel for maximum durability and provide a solid and stable connection without the frustration of traditional methods. INNOVATIVE PATENTED DESIGN – Zipbolt offers a distinctive patented gear drive that outperforms all others in terms of functionality. The innovative UT gear-driven mechanism eliminates the issues associated with conventional techniques of joining stair newels to rails. The railbolt housing's distinctive open channel allows the housing to be dropped directly on the shaft, eliminating the need for nuts and washers.
